Black Book Block Party

Join us for our community first Black Book Block Party - a day festival featuring Black authors, bookstores, creative vendors, libraries, games & prizes, and so much more!

We are partnering with Cozy Girl Book Club to bring you the best book block party of the summer featuring an array of activities including panel discussions, book drives, specialty cocktails and more! Explore some of our favorite Black authors and leaders like Tylik McMillan as well as local vendors and organizations like Books and Bouquets and Kindred Bookshop.

We are coming together to celebrate community, literature and Black voices! Leading up to and throughout the event we will be raising money for Dunbar Middle School's Book Vending Machine and highlighting local initiatives like Adopt-A-Classroom to provide supplies and materials in local schools.
